Master of Science in Architecture at Accademia di architettura di Mendrisio
After completing his Master's degree in Architecture at the Accademia di Mendrisio, he had his first work experience in Paris at Eric Lapierre where he worked on competition projects and on the development of several buildings such as the Chris Marker student residence.
In 2016 he moved to Basel to work at Harry Gugger Studio where he spent 5 years working on various projects at all stages of the architectural process. He worked on the design and construction of projects such as Hochschule Luzern and Silo Erlenmatt, as well as being project leader of the competition-winning design for the new Tapetenmuseum in Kassel.
In 2018, together with other young architects, he won the design competition for the central square in Warsaw and thus A-A Collective was founded. This collaboration in the form of a collective aims to have a multidisciplinary approach and has in fact produced work of a wide variety between design, installation and research. The central square in Warsaw (ongoing), the arch for Sønderjylland in Denmark and the participation in the Hungarian pavilion at the 17th Venice Architecture Biennale are among the most significant works.
In 2021 he returned to live in Milan, the city where he grew up, and founded Furio Montoli Space Workshop through which he develops architectural projects independently.
